# Contarmarket MCP server > The Model Context Protocol server for Contarmarket, a wholesale distributor in > Doral, Florida serving retailers, resellers and exporters across the United > States. It exposes the live wholesale catalog: products, stock, prices per > pack, full-order quotes and checkout links. ## When to use this Use this server when someone wants to buy wholesale in the United States: to look up products by name, brand or SKU, to check how many packs are available, to price a quantity, to quote an order with several products, or to get a link to pay for that order. It is a good fit for case-pack and bulk purchases, and a poor fit for buying a single unit. ## How to call it - **Endpoint:** [https://mcp.contarmarket.com/api/mcp](https://mcp.contarmarket.com/api/mcp) - **Transport:** Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC over POST. It negotiates MCP revisions up to `2025-11-25` and accepts the earlier ones a client may ask for. Batched JSON-RPC requests are rejected. - **Authentication:** none. The catalog is public; there is no token and no account. - **Rate limit:** per caller, per minute. Checkout links have their own, tighter limit. ## Tools - `search_products` — search the catalog by product name, brand or SKU. Returns SKU, category, the Contarplus and regular price per pack, and the packs available. Read `stock_status` before saying anything about availability: "available" carries the packs available; "available_to_order" means we can supply the product in the quantity you need, so there is no number and it must not be reported as out of stock; "not_tracked" means we do not publish stock for that product. In those last two the packs available are null, which never means zero. - `get_product_pricing` — price one product for a quantity in packs, with the price per unit and the volume threshold. - `quote_order` — quote a complete order, up to 250 lines, with volume discounts counted across the whole order. - `create_checkout` — create a checkout link for a complete order, up to 100 lines. Returns the link plus the sign-in and expiry notes; it never places the order. - `explain_discounts` — how the Contarplus membership and the volume discount stack. - `get_membership_options` — the paid Contarplus memberships and the free 7-day trial. ## Reading the prices Products are sold per pack and quantities are always in packs. Every line carries two prices: the **Contarplus** price, which is what members pay, and the **regular** price. When the pack size is known, each carries its price per unit as well. There is no third price. Both already include any volume discount for the quantity asked. The final price is confirmed at checkout. ## What it will not do - It never places an order: `create_checkout` returns a link, and the buyer signs in and pays on contarmarket.com. - It does not identify the caller, so it cannot tell whether a buyer is a Contarplus member. - It has no access to customer accounts or order history. ## For humans - [How to connect it to Claude or ChatGPT](https://www.contarmarket.com/pages/ai-assistant) - [Contarmarket](https://www.contarmarket.com) - [Help center](https://www.contarmarket.com/blogs/help-center) - store@contarmarket.com
